Washington LEAD Conference Canceled

The LEAD Conference scheduled for February 5-7 in Arlington, VA, has been canceled. The impending blizzard set to hit the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend has prompted Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell to declare a state of emergency, and our first concern must be for the safety of the students and advisers who have planned to travel to the area this weekend.

A few key items:

• Advisers must cancel hotel reservations right away (Marriott Crystal Gateway tel: 703-920-3230; fax: 703-271-5212).
• Advisers/Schools are responsible for all transportation arrangements. (NASSP cannot be responsible for any costs associated with transportation changes.)
• NASSP will refund in full all paid registrations, or apply the registrations to upcoming LEAD conferences in Chicago, February 19-21, or Phoenix, March 19-21.
